If you combine the following, starwars geek, comic book geek, film geek and so on, mixed it, then ran that mixture through a mystery play and gave it the chance to wield The Force, that's when you get Jack.
He was named Boo for a time.
The name is a joke based on someone suggesting he be called Attack Hamster. If you don't understand then there is no hope for you.

Jack turned up around the end of 2006 and straight away started testing the mages of Melbourne. He walked all the way in amongst them, sat down and waited. It took them over half an hour to respond to the presence of a newcomer. When they did so it was with maximum prejudice, guns and blades drawn. Eventually he managed to test one in a "duel" which had no rules dictated other than to use supplied weapons. He's been around ever since, pissing off the Guardians of the Veil and ridiculing the Free Council.
In 2007, Jack was witnessed in Adelaide involved in an altercation with the mage Boord. Later in the year Jack was spotted in Sydney running away with the statue of The Keeper, he was prevented from doing so.
In 2008 Jack returned to Melbourne and the weather hasn't been the same since.

- He is the Hieromagus.
- He secretly is a Free Councillor, but pretends not to be so that people actually want to talk to him
- He's sitting on the side of the freeway, in a car. In a caaaaar...
- Jack is thought to be associated with That Bloody Apostate, Rosethorn, who recently showed up in Melbourne and suggested all the Order-mages there should 'get fucked', but how the two may be related, not even speculation can say.
- Likes to think he ridicules the Free Council, when in fact they find his supposed ridicule kinda amusing, if pitiful.
- Speculation says that Jack is really a woman, and is having a torrid lesbian affair with Rosethorn. That is how they are related.
- Boord axed Jack if he had a light, Jack set him on fire.
- Jack is known to have winked into the face of death.
- Showed the Guardians of the Veil a blatant paradox, and yet they did nothing about it, proving his point.
- Jack was last spotted gaining a lot of road rash after he attempted to steal the statue of the Keeper from the Tower in Sydney. Yet he just got up and continued on his way.
- Mr. Jack is a weather witch, capable and willing to summon devastating weather patterns.
- Mr. Jack is the result of a time paradox. He shouldn't exist, shouldn't have as much power as he does, and shouldn't wield it without restraint.
